A Shadowless Flame
I stood there uttering “i see” in silent disdain-
lost in words and who’s to blame!
Farewell, my friend and musical bane-
why do you have to be a shadowless flame?
Like words from your beloved hurricane-
why does care feel like poison rain?
Your hurt and surrender to pain-
dethrone melodies that were once so tisane!
First came seclusion unraveling a kame-
then followed a silence so procaine!
This Trobaritz’s only crime was to claim
that you reside in her heart’s forebrain!
Call me a stoic for being humane-
but don’t make me wonder who’s to blame!
So sorry to see you go rattlebrain-
when all I wanted was someone to inflame!
Oh how I wish I was more urbane-
but I am who I am just a kik nickname!
