Shadows

The shadows loured me toward the water. It whispered in my ear, telling me secrets of the deep. It grabbed my wrists and twirled me in the water making me lose my sense of direction. It told me beautiful things that took my breath away. They danced me farther and farther from the shore and I didn't mind. We swayed and spun until my vision blurred. The shadow hugged me and pulled me into its home, deep in the sea. Blackness hugged me, squeezing tight. Then beautiful, loving shadows made way to a wonderfully brilliant bright light.
