shadows

It's there, covered with cream Painful, even unseen How can people be so mean? Are they even human beings? How can they find joy? Where is the meaning? Never I tic nor annoy Yet again, day after day Is there meaning any more? Nothing keeps them at bay Food, money, answers written And yet I will not tell nor say About the shadows hidden With makeup and clay From a fist unbidden For I fear who hits me everyday Cause bullies always get their way And nobody would believe, or care, anyways
