Shadows

I’m in the shadows day and night. Making sure everything's safe, secure and right. Pulling strings where they’re desired, with your smile being all that’s required. Hiding in the shadows helping you with what you need, and being there to plant the seed. To make you happy, when you’re sad. To pick you up, when you fall down. To hold you when I see you shaking. To fix your heart when it’s breaking. To dry your tears, when you cry. Sitting in the shadows I’m watching you fly.
