Shadows Become Clear
An ordinary glance transfixed onto an ordinary clam
soft bud rigid, plain but interesting
curiosity runs throughout an intricate brain
the touch feels damp though the shell is just as others
the mind loses curiosity, drops the clam
days fly, like geese in flocks
a mind with pure simplicity
stares at the dull clam, with curiosity as well
as the clam rises the curiosity deepens
it is acknowledged like a model to a photographer
the eyes observe a tedious item but the mind notices a beauty
not even the wisest could comprehend
the clam cracks apart
revealing a glossy, delicate, treasure
it lays upon the hands of the Caring and humble
though never upon the careless
