A Shadows Freedom

I am always with you In your head, In your soul You are so full of light But I am nothing but darkness I make no sound at all I don't need to eat or sleep I am the eternal watcher of day I am the eternal watcher of night Yet I am not free I am eternally bound here forever I am neither alive or dead There is no purpose to my existance Yet I see everything I see all the love, hate, and destruction I see things that should be I see things that will never be My existence is ever present My existence is ever ignored Yet I am always with you I am your shadow
