Shadows of Guidance Ignite

She turns and gazes at me down the hall,

She’s a little shadow full in flight

Need a lofty corner?

She’ll be there loitering, watching everywhere.

Her vision of the world is immaculate to me,

She brings out the craziness I never knew could burst out of me.

Quiet, flighty can never catch her

An absolute enchantment dances across her gait.

She has taught me how to get out of my head,

expand the inner thoughts of my mind.

She knows thoughts are there lurking deep

but can never be opened but by acceptance and confessions.

Up in the lonely rafter she resides,

Resting in a piece of mind

A mystery to some,

Few see into the depths of her secretivity

But she comes to light in the sky,

Lighting up the room with mystic eyes.

She’ll be there eyes bright with love,

Caressing words written on her heart,

Scurrying along thoughts flinging past

She is there always for me,

We share a love of many things

She’s taught me the importance of life and liberty

We rant our thoughts continuously,

And pave our own reality

Time we have enough to last,

Our minds form strings of writing

She guides me in the lines of strife

Guiding my writing by lamplight

Always there, always true,

She will always be the lighthouse through whatever may pass .
