Shadows in the Mirror

I see shadows,

Shadows in the mirror.

Shadows that I fear.

But when I turn around,

There’s nothing there.

When I grasp the air,

I feel nothing but air.

When I turn the light off,

The shadows are still there.

Trying to drag me back down.

I feel nothing.

I see nothing.

Where is it happening?

Oh,

That’s right.

It’s all in my head.
