Shadows of Red
Tonight we’ll light the match,
Start a wave that will flow without currents.
Heat will simmer for miles,
Boil our demons with rays.
Tonight we’ll start a flame,
Cast the shadows to the grave.
Flickers will sway with the wind,
Shinning with vengeance.
Tonight we’ll spark the blaze,
Blood stained ashes fall heavy with grace.
Ponds glide to and fro,
White cloth peeks from the palms of darkness.
Tonight we’ll glow red,
Fire will burn thick with regret.
As black fills the sky,
The light will soon be hidden under smog.
