Shaken

My chest is squeezing

My body’s freezing

My heart is seizing

My breath is fleeting

My hands are shaking

My pain is aching

My smiles are faking

I feel like fainting

I feel like screaming

I feel like raging

I feel like I’m decaying

I feel like you don’t hear what I’m saying

I hate this

I hate that I can’t resist

I hate that I act like this

I hate that you affect me

I hate that I worry about you

I hate that I still care

I hate that I stare

I hate that when I turn you aren’t there

I hate that this isn’t fair
