shakespeare rewrite

shall i compare thee to an evergreen ?

thou art more full of life and more giving,

rough rain will drench thee but keep all thy green,

and make thy leaves for which i am living.

sometime too earthly; nothing new will come,

and often the green will dry and grow old,

the sticks will rot and soon be overcome,

by the loss of time and strength against cold.

but thy evergreen shall not be of fade,

thou shall keep thy leaves and sticks well-intact,

the beauty thou hast is beauty thou made,

the green thou hast- infinitely abstract.

so long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,

so long lives this and this gives life to thee.
