Shall I Write Thee?

Shall I write thee a letter today?
Contemplate I might, yet I cannot write.
I dare say that you remind me of a fay.
A fair beauty and knowing features, a fair sprite.

The curiosty of your frail beauty, it excites.
Excites the senses, it intruiges and animates.
And at night, I watch as your person alights.
I see you, standing, sadly before the gates.

The gates of my manor which should never open
Yet, they open and I see you dissapear from my sight
I lay asleep, contemplating in my dreams, is this an omen?
you have gone and now I must write by candle light.

Now I only remember your beauty and your strong will
and your unique love for a daffodil.
