Shame on it all

Time and time again, I let you in knowing that loving you just ain't right.

Expecting change to come, Wanting to be the one. I only fooled myself because now the hurting has begun.

Feeling ways I didn't want to feel no more, I'm through with love because I don't want to hurt no more.

Mad at myself because I gave you my heart, I didn't see it coming I thought we would never part.

Shame on it all for it to end this way, Knowing you were wrong now you have nothing to say.

How many times must I feel the hurt from pain, Now I'm telling myself that I wish I never knew your name.

I like to write about reality, rather it’s something I have experienced personally or someone’s situation.
