Shame Me Curtain

The darkness in here makes the room so bare,

I hide out the light so it can’t come near.

You placed me in front of the world I can’t see,

Never acknowledged, until it’s time to be cleaned.

I know that without you I wouldn’t exist

Sorry I got stuck here, you seem really pissed,

You tore me down and fell to your knees:

Shame is a curtain and that curtain is me.
