Shame the Slut-Shamers
A woman with a self-respect platform
can take two men in four months
and she’ll be humiliated
like the first school child to need glasses.
Shame the slut-shamers,
the society
that cares more about a woman’s bed
than her thoughts.
She’ll be ridiculed
for private choices,
closed door sessions,
and under-the-sheets confessions.
Shame the slut-shamers,
the people
who don’t understand the empowerment,
the liberation that comes with sexuality.
She’ll be called a devil in the sheets,
and a whore in the streets.
The mothers, they’ll abhor her,
and the fathers, well, they’ll adore her.
Shame the slut-shamers,
the friends
that wish they could be so brave,
without care of someone else’s reaction
They'll make t shirts
and make fun
But they can't make,
they won’t make me regret.
