shameful love

she bows her head in shame,

and steps back silently,

movin ginto the shadows

she hides her fearful face.

she knew what she did,

and regrets thinking of it.

by making herself happy,

she had broken the one she loved.

he forgave her

but he wanted nothing with her.

she had a lover anyways.

whom she deeply cared for.

so now in the shadows,

she puts her fave in her hands

when the darkness grows darker,

she lifts her head.

with her hands cupped

she catches the tears pouring from her eyes

she whispers to her love,

im not crying for my pride, but for the need of your love.
