"Shaming the Scream"

Beautiful scream, what do you see?

Your eyes are blind, yet you claim to be

a thing of such perceptivity.

Why oh why fall silent now

to the crowd, rather than bend and bow?

Such a nice touch, I wish I knew how.

Ever fleeing, forever flying,

Who knows if you’re really dying?

Such a ruse, what a waste of lying!

Tears have a much better fit,

Don’t have to listen for a bit.

Shut up child, or you’ll be hit!

Sheep are truly a superior being

Compared to those always fleeing.

That is what we’re really needing.

Never fear, just shut your eyes,

Try to ignore the stinging flies

And sign away your goodbyes.
