Shaped to "perfection"

Revelation 3:15-16 New English Translation (NET Bible)

15 ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either cold or hot! 16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of my mouth!

Religiousness

Shaped to perfection just as a light bulb without a fixture

When it gets dark it won’t be seen again

Only a reflection in a thoughtful mixture

as a lonely spark in the futility of man

“It could have been”, recorded for all to see

A beacon of warning that’s completely ignored

All seems to be escorted without a silent plea

to a fake heartwarming for the dead and the bored
