Shapeshifter

A modern day shapeshifter.

That is what I have become.

Without even realizing it,

You tell me who you want me to be.

You tell me what to say,

And how to act,

In order to be liked by you.

And I do it.

I morph into who you want,

Who you need.

Constantly changing for whoever's prescence I'm in.

Always analyzing,

Always readjusting,

Into a better fit.

So when you ask who I am,

I ask who you want me to be.

And I become just that.

A modern day shapshifter.
