The Shark

at the surface,

it never seems the way it is.

attitude has a purpose,

and no one understands his.

the calm waves of the ocean

are sometimes a charade.

a human can hide emotion;

they choose which thoughts are displayed.

some areas are dark;

some are bright with joy.

terrifying intake sparks,

the awareness of something destroyed.

the world is not a pleasant place,

if your obtuse awareness exists.

i know of a disgrace

that proves ignorance is bliss.

imagine life under the sea,

and compare it to the land.

many would agree,

it is common to relate and misunderstand.

under the sea there are different kinds

of creatures who breathe and live.

they may not all have spines,

but each one of them swims.

on the lands of earth,

there is a human race.

all are small at birth,

but after time each takes their own place.

individuality is essential

to a strong soul.

some take advantage of their potential,

and some allow their ideas to make them lose control.

our world is a largeplace,

that has been around for some time.

i have learned that a pretty face,

may be a disguise

to whats really inside.

in the underwater world,

a food chain exists.

the chain is uncurled-

there is no way for another to resist.

in our world we have a hierarchy,

based upon the mind.

most countries avoid an anarchy,

but some have a system that is malign.

below the waves

the small are always the weak.

the big ones always crave

the taste of another's physique.

the most dangerous is a shark;

he especially likes to eat.

but what would that shark be,

without his nasty set of teeth?

i have heard of a guy.

who's name is joseph kony.

his story is unique,

but reminds me of some history.

a long time ago for about six years,

death reigned upon the innocent.

the happenings still move some to tears.

there are museums in recognition of it.

these events have a name-

it goes by the holocaust.

the victims were the same;

all received treatment which is unjust.

millions died by murder,

for no legitimate reason.

every one remembers the events,

even if they didn't see them.

right now in the present,

there is no adolf hitler,

to kill or threaten.

but in african deserts,

lives a man who can compare to him.

adolf was a shark,

who ate the schools of fish.

he left behind his mark,

and made sure everyone knew his wish.

mister kony's motivation,

is nothing but egotistical.

his victims suffer from dehumanization;

his methods are far from logistical.

in the middle of the night,

he sneaks up on his victims.

with sleep comes frights,

for the kids who know he is grim.

knoy's teeth are the ira,

an army of children

who had their freedom taken away.

he intoxicates them with sin,

and forces them to kill.

they have no choice.

once in his grasp,

it all goes downhill.

they no longer have a voice,

they no londer have time

to breathe fresh air,

or to have peace in their minds.

life isn't fair,

but a shark doesn't deserve all this glory.

this time the school of fish,

needs to be the end of the glory.

the children kony takes,

are said to be invisible.

with them he creates,

children full of malice,

children who are miserable.

there is a mission,

to stop kony from what he does.

there is encouragement,

to transform his 'is' to a 'was.'

the people of the world,

are made with two legs to walk.

the people of the world,

have the chance to put him to a stop.

if one believes the shark should not prosper,

then swim with the fish,

and the fish will become stronger.

unity has a chance now;

we can contribute to the fight.

without his teeth,

what kind of shark would he be?

without the ira,

his pride would be put to shame.

the world as a whole,

can make a difference.

the fish have started to swim.

the shark's bite has stung.

al the more reason for the fish to win,

to defeat kony,

and to eliminate his soul full of sin.
