Sharp Razor

The shaving razor's on the counter with the shaving cream
I try to resist the urge to pry the broken shards out of the remains
of the bathroom mirror
I pick up the razor and begin to shave

Oh, I got a couple nicks
No big deal, I'll just have to get a duller razor

Or better timing with when I shave
At least I don't have to share shaving cream with anybody
My friend Rory does with his brother Cal
But my little brother Leo's too little and my old man has his own
Jeez, even more nicks
I need a duller razor before I end up becoming Freddy Krueger

I live to write and I write for myself, for the livelihood that I plan to make.
