sharp as a tack

Writerly and thoughtful.
Bury your head in the sand.
It’s not what we need.
We need to put things together.
Unfortunately the lyrics became horrifyingly true to life.
Frozen raspberries in champagne.
What if I leave?
It’s ineffective and unclear.
More impact now.
I thought I had my life in order.
I can no longer fool you, though.
You’re far too smart for me.
People left crying.
I bet it was deliberate.
Many go on thinking-
Everyone sucks but us.
It hits me right in the gut.
I should be more scared than I am, I believe.
It’s the curse of intelligence.
They better cry.
