Shattered
As pieces of glass
Fall to the floor
She watches over me, no more
My world is broken
Like the pieces of the mirror
Although my vision is cloudy
I could not see any clearer
It took a while to be happy
But that I am
Hurt no more, I no longer see ugliness
I am no longer an eye sore
I see a new beauty in me, that I've never seen
I pretended to be that version of me
Previously
Now I've found the real me
The me that I am truly ment to be
Who am I?
Some may ask
I am Mary, the real her
I am no longer wearing a mask
I am free
From misery
Once lost
Newly found
Once a bad girl
Who was surely hell bound
Once broken
Now put together
I am a bird
Who flocks to no feather
My heart and my soul
Have felt no better
Shattered that I was
Mary I am
