Shattered

Apart of me died when we shared our final goodbyes,
With words being left unsaid and feelings being hurt,
The bond was finally broken.
You decided to let go when I was still holding on.
With no remorse you watched part of me drown in my own pity.
Tortured my consciousness with false hopes and dreams
Then robbed me of my happiness.
Shattered, Torn apart.
You left me in the worst state of all
Depression.
