shattered

 people fail to let you know;

that when you’re broken

a certain way, that there’s no fixing

or they don’t tell you

that your heart

 will feel empty because

you gave away all that you had to give.

and you wonder how long will this go on...

which is why you never fall for anything

because everything that falls,

ends up broken.
