Shattered

Her eyes were

a magnificent shade of blue

they held you captive

tortured you

Her cheeks were roses

of a shy shade of red

painted with her timid blushes

beautiful when she's well-fed

Her hair was sunshine

glowing in the dead of night

her head was a gold mine

with no minors in sight

Her heart was so pure

though it was troubled, bruised

her footsteps so sure

though she was scared, shattered
