Shattered Hourglass

Shattered Hourglass
Do you guys think that if I break and hourglass time would cease to exist?
Just long enough so I
Can I go back to that night
Yeah the night you walked out of my room
The night were “I love you” no longer held a meaning besides habitual
The night you left my arms for good?
The night you became unscribed to my touch and erotic love?
The night where I had to look at you and call you by your real name?
Because, I didn’t want my love for you to be toxic
I hated the thought of being connected to you at the hip
My beautiful violet I wanted to see you flourish without my rotting ground
I wanted the happiness that you deserved to be collected by your small hands
That didn’t mean I wanted you to leave
That didn’t mean I wanted you to disapapear from my autisic routine
I just wanted your guidance, into helping me sprout my own flourishing garden
I looked into your brown eyes everyday to see that your garden is surrounded by butterflies and sun kissed love
Now, that is gone
The last I have left of you are materials handed to me by a complete stranger
Your scent still lingering on
I am back to my dying garden my broken heart
Sitting in the soil of confusion wondering…
Was it a mistake?
Was it an issue?
Was it…?
So, I ask again
Do you think if I broke and hourglass, time would cease to exist just long enough…?
