She

She

She views the world like no other.

She speaks as if her mind is saturated with knowledge.

Her mouth spews words that dance on her tongue.

The tone of her voice has you drugged,

addicted,

wanting more

and more.

Her eyes,

a mint, moss, and pine all at once.

They are emeralds glistening in the sun.

A meadow of colors polished with beauty.

A jungle filled with the unknown,

waiting to be explored.

Her eyes are translucent,

as if every thought is visible but never clear.

Her lips,

the color and taste of peaches.

Chapped and stained with scarlet.

Parted as carefully as the Red Sea.

Plump enough to make you go weak,

though they are made of broken glass,

fine enough to made you bleed.

The space in between her teeth,

wider than the distance I want between us.

The rasp in her voice,

deeper than the hole in my heart.

Her beauty strikes me like a match.

As I gaze into her eyes

thoughts hit my brain like rays of the sunrise,

slowly and then all at once.

She stands out in the crowd.

like a rose among lilies.

She is a storm cloud.

Her rain does not bring flowers or rainbows,

but floods your tear ducts

and drowns your heart with sorrow.
