She
Closed eyes, Closed Doors
Dried Up Tears
A Bunch of No's and I Can'ts
She no longer wants to wake up
A monster has taken over her
It is changing her from the inside out
No one really understands but her
She just wants to be alone
Cheering was her life and now she cant even enjoy it
This monster is killing her slowly
Horrible thoughts cross her mind
Somedays she doesn't even want to eat
Having this monster in her is like someone telling her everyday how bad she is
How she isn't worth anything
How all she ever does is make mistakes
One day everything changed
She got tired of losing friends and feeling sorry for herself
So she surrendered herself to the therepists
Was scared at first didnt want to be gave up on
Through months of help her closed eyes began to open
Her tears faded away
Her frowns were replaced with a smile
This monster that invaded her mind was Depression
Through recovery the monster was killed
Never give up on yourself
You have to go through the bad days to get to the better.
