She

She is a monster She eats at my mind, tries to make me think just like her Tries to manipulate me But people have ears And they got to me before she I see past her hideous facade Her disgusting intentions And to think I almost fell into her trap. Her own kin turned against her in my favor She told me she loved me, that she never talked ill about me And I fell. She said it was us against the world And I fell harder But I never hit the ground Instead, I fell into the arms of someone who does love me Someone who has never spoke ill of me Someone who truly is with me against the world. Everything she’d promised and failed to deliver.
