She

Location

Sitting and breathing was all she every did in class.

Eating and sleeping was all she did at home.

She had no friends nor siblings to talk to or share her deepest dreams.

She always passed by people not looking once at their faces, keeping her head down like she was one of the criminals in prison.

But she wasn't mean, oh no!,

She was very friendly.

Yet no one payed attention.

No one showed interest.

She had a collection of bears and roses-gifts she always bought for herself.

Her mother and father never seemed to pay attention, not even when she made the greatest scores.

The day she left, every soul in school and at home complained, all creating theories and lies, no one really knowing why she made such decision.

But deep down in her heart she knew she made the right choice,

Because now she was free, and walking head up high once more.
