She and I
I lay in the wreckage, I do not move,
for this trust is in ruins and the tempest still rages.
An arctic wave hits me; she is now awake.
Awakened in betrayal, she struggles onto her feet.
The rubble slowly runs from her vision as she grows.
I am finally an endemism, far away from the debris
