SHE AND I

She’s freaking gorgeous, she ticks right all the boxes of beauty.

It’s true she’s the most beautiful girl I’ve ever met.
She’s a Minister’s daughter, I’m a peasant’s son.

My wish is her command and my best her rest.

We’re worlds apart, but our hearts intact.
She Say’s she’s in love, I say I’m in laugh,

how can the minor mingle with the mighty.
I thought she would say, you’re not of my class, she’s of the mighty, I’m of the less.

I’m of the humble, she’s of the bourgeoisie.
She tell’s me if it’s  okay by you, it’s  okay with me.

She pays the bills, she still submits.
I thought she would say, Your kind can’t  smell my type…  She’s stylish and classy and so sassy.

She got a fantastic taste for wine, I’ve never tasted any earlier.

She says nothing gonna come between us, nothing gonna shut out our dreams.
I hope I can cope.

It’s alienating to date a more monied lady.
