SHE CAN HE


Her face was frowning, Her voice was rising, Her words were stinging, Cause her pride, Her pride had been trodden on, Her ego crushed underfoot. But no, No was all her mind would shout. Her tongue drew it with wrath Her voice said it in rage She'd take it no more Patriarchal her society might be But feminist she'll remain. Why ain't nobody ever told her that men were beasts Who put their egos abreast. For this she'll stand up Against this She'll shout Till her voice was normal no more.
