she can not
She can not drive.
She can not learn.
She dotes on him.
She feels like a coat hanger to him.
She was sworn into marriage.
Yet she wishes she could parrish.
Where she lives women’s rights do not exist.
So if he swings his fist all she can do is stand stiff.
She sobs and weeps.
Then she stands up and sweeps.
She wishes it was different.
Because her pain is so very significant.
She sits and wonders.
About her sister and mother.
How they managed to live a life of such pain.
For she can not bear to live like this one more day.
She packed up her bags before he came home.
She got in the car without knowing of how to drive it.
She stepped on the gas pedal.
She then heard a crash.
Then a bright flash.
She believed this was a blessing.
For she was no longer was stressing.
As she drifted off to heaven.
Far away from him.
