She, Champion
Breast cancer rises and
digs its root-like claws into the dirt.
It hisses and groans while squeezing native flowers and trees
suffocating their lungs.
It cackles
piercing every ear drum with a needle wet with musical poison
sucking every fruit dry
and slurping every last droplet of blood from your veins.
Breast cancer stops
awaiting its defeat.
Breast cancer sees
its inevitability.
She swings and swings breast cancer around and around and around.
With a great 'oof!'
the monster soars.
Crumbles into the earth.
Listen as its final hiss dissipates
with the rise of ambient vibrations
of general living and being.
She is great.
