She Cries
A strong stone stands before
A silent group of humanity.
It is the resounding show of promise
Of joy - everlasting.
A cloud wanders aimlessly,
Searching for the perfect shore,
To rest its weary head
And let the tears pour.
A bird floats through the breeze,
Whistling as it goes,
Noting the structure and the weather
And wanting to warm the swarm.
A lost girl stands rigid,
Among the company,
Wondering when a sob will come
Forth in her misery.
A sprinkle settles on her face,
Which she in turn trades,
For the tears she cannot shed
For her mother in the grave.
