She Cut Herself

A girl cut herself today, you may know her, your sister,  maybe your friend

Well she bled out today, she’s dead now, she’s already met her end

She told you that she was sad,  she’s depressed, that she hated herself, her life

But you failed to see that in her room, under her bed, she already hid a knife

You told her all was fine, and she needed to suck it up and go away

But little did you know that your ignorance is what made today her last day

You could have said “I understand”, could have told her you loved her still

But you killed her instead, you killed your friend, is that what you do? You kill?

No matter, past is past, you can’t change your sins, but your hands are covered in blood

The blood of the girl who cut herself today, because you forgot to show her love
