She didn't know
Sometimes she didn't know
That in her silence
And in her nature
She moved worlds
And touched souls.
And her gentle smile
Softened some of the stricken harshness.
When everyone else's eyes were on themselves,
Her own eyes were on everyone else
And when she started to fall away
Good things started to fall apart.
And what she didn't know
Is that people looked to her for a sense of hope,
When they needed purity,
Or faith.
She looks in the mirror and doesn't know...
She doesn't know what she sees;
For it is something different than what others perceive.
To her,
The only thing she knows
Is lonliness, and pain
But to others,
People see beauty,
And life,
And galaxies in her little hazel eyes.
She might never know what they see.
But one thing that she always did know,
Is that she had a purpose,
Even if she never knew what of...
