She Doesn't See

The mirror empowered her FUnHouSe view

A fallacious reality sways her life’s aspiration

She withers at the foot of the world

Hope, shriveled into oblivion

Depression overtook her life-filled soul…

Years ago she had a man, but he became unrecognizable

Price tags turned priceless, a materialistic mindset

The need for her became seasonal, of his convenience

A desire for possessions overruled his desire for her

Hung up on who he use to be, she holds onto who is not there...

He will forever choose dirt over her

Who he was is gone.

He will NOT be back.

She is hindered by her past

The truth of her treasure is masked in lies

Her opinion of herself is mute

She Doesn’t See her beauty

If only the mirror was to blame…
