She is a fighter

Love was supposed to be Sweet

Love was supposed to be Kind

Love was supposed to mean Forever

Love was supposed to mean Support

But Love was not kind...

She was a Fighter

She kept me Safe

I was Protected from the Abuse and Hate

He told her it was "Because I love you"

But it was it was because he was Hateful...

"Because I love you" was something my mother said

She said those 4 words when I was Sad

When I Asked WHAT made me special

When I was Depressed and Asking WHY

When I called myself Fat and Asked WHY

When I asked WHY she Cared about Me so much

When I asked WHY...

That is what those words should mean

They shouldn't be used to Abuse

To Inflict Fear

To make one Cry

To make one want to Die...

I write this because she was Strong

Because she IS Strong

Because she IS my Mom

and...

Because I Love You Mom
