She Heard Me Call

She heard me in my times of need

Words of wisdom

Always so loving and so care

It was the feeling I needed to keep going

She heard me cry over a lot

Crying of the lose and pain

She assured me that it would be okay

The pain would go away

She heard me complain about silly things

Things that shouldn't seize my day

She listened all the same

She is the reason I am the way I am

She is the reason I have made it so far

She heard me when I needed it

Now I reflect that same thing others

I will listen

I will be the one to hear

Because I was heard by the one that inspires me
