She, Her, Me

She dances to the music,

the music in her head.

She doesn't skip a beat,

She doesn't go ahead.

She likes to fake a smile.

But only for a while.

So people wouldn't know,

The trouble at home.

She's almost dying inside.

But she holds her head up in pride.

She won't back down,

She won't dare to frown.

She has lots of friends, but none of them know.

The monster inside her,

That constantly grows.

They tell her to close her eyes,

They tell her to calm down.

But they didn’t know...

Every time she closed her eyes she was drowning.

Every time she tried calming down she was fighting.-With herself

To stay alive.

She was told she wouldn’t make it.

She was told she could only fake it.

But she kept dancing.

To that music in her head.

The beats she was being fed.

She was strong. –She is strong.

She deals with loads of pain.

Let’s face it! She's INSANE.
