She is leaving

We have been best-friends since middle school You know all my secrets I know yours We shared laughs and cries so many times Now that high school is over Its starting to sink in that our paths are inevitably splitting I am off to college and you in the military My heart aches as the day of separation nears When will I see you again? Will we be different then? My heart is aching as we separate our ways
