- She left

My childhood fled away from my life

absconding like a prisoner from jail

Then maturity , pushed in

With no chance of bail

one day she decided to call

and ask about my well-being

I told her I wasn't complete

I needed her pleaded her to come back

Expected answer was "Yes I will"

but all i got was an aggressive "no"

pleaded her to visit just once

Said she did two days ago

in a form of an old friend

reminded me about when I was young,

the chubby ,merry little girl I was

with skin as Brown as chocolate

even held me in her arms for minutes

but couldn't feel my love for her anymore

so then decided to leave
