She is Me

She likes tights and baggy shirts.

She likes her hair up in a bun.

She’s comfortable without any makeup on.

She sings out loud when she’s alone.

She writes poems to explain what she can’t say out loud.

She gives up the parties, but

She works hard at school.

She sticks to herself to avoid all the drama.

She cleans when she’s mad, and draws when she’s bored.

She’s quiet when she’s sad, and the closest person to her is her mom.

She writes to hide her feelings,

But she’All never say them out loud.

She grew up fast, to help raise her brother, and replace the dad she never had.

She’s serious and a little shy.

She would never change for a guy.

She had to mature earlier than most.

She thinks too much, and plays too little.

She’s strong but she’s fragile.

She is me.
