She in Me

She does not write for you

She does not write for your approval

She writes to release the bullets of thought

That otherwise would kill

The friends that she's bought

Not with money

For she is not rich

But with a smile that spreads

Inch by inch

Because you see

Behind that smile is the real her

Not happy, not sad

But an in-between mad

Not angry nor lazy

But inside she's crazy

She lives in a world

With upside-down justice

And when she asks "why?"

They say "it just is"

It's a world she can not change

With no one by her side

She has to find her crazy people

     But she can't

Because like her

They hide

And by the rules

They abide
