She never knew...


 

 

The way her chocolate eyes was irreplaceable 

She never knew 

That it wasn't the sway of her hips that made everyone look her way but the sound of her voice. 

She never knew

The power she held inside was so powerful that she could have the whole world bow down at her feet just by speaking her mind 

She never knew 

To have her thick beautiful hair is every girls dream her long dark lavish locs is every girls fantasy 

She does know 

Her mother raised her to be everything society tells her not to be

She does know 

That her skin color does not mean that she is withheld from others of a different race

She does know

That black is power

She does know 

that she is black
