She Raised Me Right

Some say "only a man can raise a man" well I'm a man and only a woman raised

me

I've learned that with respecting others you get respected

That to love someone you have to love you first

That came from the woman who raised me

I've learned that caring for others gives them hope that someone out there actually

does care

You don't have to help someone only because you know them; you can give a

helping hand without expecting anything back

She taught me that, my mother

I watched as she put me first to show that someone comes before her

I grew older and put her first

She raised me to be a man and now I want to show her all that she's taught me
