She Said

I am watching you fade away

she said

pound by pound, you are withering

she said

i am tired of seeing you destroy your body

she said

for peace of mind you will never get

she said i was stronger

she said i had the power

she said if i did not stop today

i would not see tomorrow

you don't know how worthy you are

she said

you don't see how beautiful you are

she said

when you feed your body

you feed your soul

she said

I am here today only because

she said

and i listened.
